Our Mission
The mission of the Cooper-Ackwood Family Archive is to preserve, protect, and pass forward the story of our family with honesty, respect, and care.
Every family has a history. Some parts are celebrated, some are difficult, and many are forgotten over time. This archive exists so that our family's experiences, relationships, traditions, accomplishments, challenges, and memories are not lost with the passing of each generation.
We believe that understanding where we come from helps us better understand who we are. By preserving our family's history, we provide future generations with a foundation from which they can learn, grow, and continue building their own lives.
This archive is not intended to present a perfect version of our family. Instead, it seeks to present a truthful and respectful record that honors the lives, contributions, and experiences of those who came before us while protecting the dignity and privacy of those who are living today.
We recognize that every generation will add new chapters to our family's story. The archive is therefore intended to remain a living record that grows with each generation while remaining faithful to the principles established in this Constitution.
